My best investment this year was an investment in me! I attended Beauty Boot Camp this November and what a wonderful experience it was. Not only did I find out what colors, styles and accessories worked best for me, Donna taught me how to organize it all in my closet. This was such an eye-opener for me and my over-crowded, “I have nothing to wear” closet of my past. This has made my life much simpler and more time efficient. The bonus is how my students have commented on my new “diva look” (their words, not mine!) and my family and friends are amazed at the difference in my wardrobe and attitude. While this weekend was an investment in me, I can honestly say that I came away with 30+ new friends, women who were the most genuine, honest, supportive spiritual and FUN of any I have encountered. I am so happy to have met Donna at the first Beauty Boot Camp Retreat in Myrtle Beach. The retreat was a wonderful experience I will never forget. Donna and the rest of the team at the retreat inspired me to clear the clutter from my closet and my life. FEBRUARY 21-23, 2011 • CHARLOTTE, NC. Donna became a Certified Christian Image Consultant in February, under the training of America’s premiere Christian fashion expert, Shari Braendel. The training contained complete and innovative information unique to Shari’s “Fashion Meets Faith” presentation and organization. Shari is one of the most sought after speakers in churches of every denomination on the subject of fashion, beauty and modesty. Working with Shari through personal hands-on training gave Donna the tools to help you discover your personal style. Donna continues this training periodically to keep up with the new trends and technology and is honored to call Shari her mentor and friend.
MARCH 19-20, 2011 • NEW YORK, NY. Donna participated in a 2-day Advanced Styling Workshop designed and delivered by Stacy London from TLC’s hit show, What Not to Wear. Stacy’s methodology has been refined over 20+ years of styling and through this workshop Donna was brought together with her peers for rigorous training and intensive information-sharing. Donna participated in styling challenges along with other fellow stylists and was able to refine her skills in a highly interactive environment. This was further enhanced by small group sessions which gave her the opportunity to showcase her capabilities and receive constructive feedback from her peers as well as Stacy.
